Important – Please read!
Emails: Each volunteer must use their own email address. Sharing emails will cause registration errors. If someone doesn’t have an email, contact the volunteer coordinators for help.
Texts: You’ll get 1–2 text reminders per event (at the same time as emails). Emails include full details like shift times. To skip texts, leave your phone number blank. There’s also an optional box for future promotional texts — you don’t need to check this unless you want them (we aren’t using this yet).
Full Day Sign-Up: Want to volunteer all day? Just select all shifts for that day. You may get multiple emails — that’s normal.
Canceling Shifts: To cancel, click “Cancel RSVP” in your confirmation email. To rebook the same shift, email the coordinators to ensure it processes correctly.
Responsible Vendor License
A current Responsible Vendor (RV) permit is required to work in any booth serving alcohol. We must have a copy of your permit on file before you can be scheduled. Temporary or expired permits are not accepted — check your expiration date!
Bring a copy (paper or digital) with you when volunteering.
How to Print your Responsible Vendor (RV) License
It takes some business days after a class is completed for the license to be up on the ATC website. Licenses from classes taken in past years are already available. (You may need to create an account on the Louisiana ATC website)

Look at date of your card issued
If card issued BEFORE May 12, 2021– Select that tab to print card and type:
- Last Name
- Last 4 digits of SSN
- RV Search
- Confirm Name
- RV License is shown to print
OR If RV Card was issued AFTER May 12, 2021– Select that tab to print card and type:
Date Of Birth
Last Name
Last 4 digits of SSN
Need a Permit?
- Take an in-person class at the Haus — stay tuned for date and time.
- Or get certified online — instructions here.
Note: Having an RV permit does not guarantee you’ll only work in alcohol booths; you may also be assigned to other areas as needed.
